Bicycle Basics Workshop Series

#3 - Basic Bike Overhauls

In this workshop you will learning how to get parts to spin freely, e.g. wheels, pedals, handlebars, etc. including cup and cone system with a demonstration of a headset and front hub, along with an introduction to locknuts and bearings.

We are offering the basics through a series of 6 workshops from January 2024 - June 2024 on the third Thursday from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

The class size is small at 6 people with many opportunities for hands-on learning and questions. After these workshops you will be able to identify the different components on your bike, understand the variety of components, understand basic maintenance that you can do or better understand more complex maintenance that a bike shop mechanic will do, tips for cleaning and maintaining your bike, and bike fitting.

This workshop series is intended for beginners.

$25 per person per class.
