In the Weeds Book Discussion
“Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds” by adrienne maree brown is inspired by Octavia Butler’s explorations of our human relationship to change, Emergent Strategy is radical self-help, society-help, and planet-help designed to shape the futures we want to live. Change is constant. The world is in a continual state of flux. It is a stream of ever-mutating, emergent patterns.
We will meet in the Loft (3rd Floor) of Mead Public Library. Snack and refreshments will be provided.
The book is available for purchase at the Green Bicycle Co. shop or the audiobook is available through Libro.fm or check out your independent book shop of choice! Mead Public library options are shown below.
Join us for a discussion of the book including its overarching themes and principals and how these methods can be strategically applied to the City of Sheboygan. We invite organizations to share their work with opportunities for discussion and feedback.
