Your Vote is Your Voice

  • John Michael Kohler Arts Center 608 New York Avenue Sheboygan, WI, 53081 United States (map)

The League of Women Voters of Sheboygan County and Sheboygan Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Initiative would like to invite you to attend this conversation with David Carlson on the perspective of incarcerated people and having the opportunity to have a voice through voting.

More than half of the people in county jails are still eligible to vote, but too many barriers stand in the way of them exercising that right. The League has been working with Sheboygan County Sheriff, Jail Administrators, and Jail Chaplain to help support incarcerated people to register to vote and/or request absentee ballots. It is very difficult because many do not have access to an acceptable voter ID while incarcerated, nor do they have access to the internet to request a ballot.

We hope that you can join us to learn more.

RSVP is encouraged. Please RSVP using the form below.
