Telling the Full History: Hmong History and Culture Program at JMKAC

Green Bicycle Co. is working in collaboration with the Sheboygan County Historical Society and Museum on the "Telling the Full History Fund" project to help communities in Sheboygan share their history.

With that, Green Bicycle Co. is also working with the Hmong community to help them share their history through a play and program with the potential of a long-term exhibit at the Sheboygan County Historical Society and Museum.

The Hmong community is hosting an exhibition of Hmong History and Culture at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center on Saturday, November 12, 2022. The exhibit will include a 30-minute play at 12:00pm followed by a program at 1:00pm that includes Hmong dances, poetry, and music and another showing of the theater play at 2:30pm. Additionally, through the exhibition, there will be fashion displays, photo and video displays, and food samples.

This exhibit is presented by the Hmong Women Society and sponsored by Acuity Insurance in partnership with John Michael Kohler Arts Center. The event is free and open to the public.

If you have any questions, please contact Mai Her (leejniam@sbcglobal.net) or Heather Cleveland (heather@greenbicycleco.com).

We hope you can join us on November 12.
